Preservation of Highway Safety Features |
On sections of highway that receive paving treatments, roadside safety features need to be brought up to current safety standards. Potential improvements may include replacing or adjusting guardrail, replacing deficient signing or restoring sight distance at intersections to reduce the frequency and severity of collisions and improve motorist safety. |
