SR 410/Nile Valley Landslide - Establish Interim Detour
On October 11, 2009, a natural slide occurred above SR 410 in the Nile Valley west of Naches. The slide demolished and buried half a mile of SR 410, blocked the Naches River causing it to seek an alternate channel, and damaged nearby property and a county road. This project will include environmental work with resource agencies, geotechnical work to assess the slope and determine a solution for stabilization, engineering, maintenance, and other work necessary to temporarily re-route SR 410, including re-channel the Naches River away from the temporary detour route.
